Send a note

Mail goes to one mailbox and one person opens it, on Thursdays and Fridays. Corrections are pulled out of the queue and handled first.

Where a message actually goes

There is one mailbox behind the form on this page and one person opening it, and that person is whoever wrote the thing you are writing about.

Nothing here is automated beyond the line that confirms a note arrived. No ticket number is issued. No colleague picks it up if the first reader is busy, because there is no colleague.

The two day week

The desk is open Thursday and Friday, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Eastern Time. Replies leave inside that window.

Anything arriving on a Saturday sits until the following Thursday, which is roughly five days of silence and not a sign that the message went astray. Two days is a deliberate choice: a solo title advertising a five day inbox does not answer faster, it simply answers everything late and calls it normal.

Corrections jump the queue

A wrong detail is the most valuable thing this inbox receives, and those get handled during the session they are read.

Say which feature and which fact. Anything that changes what another reader might do is republished at the top of the piece with the date on it. Notes about a feature that are not corrections still get a proper answer rather than a receipt, usually inside the same week.

Things this desk will say no to

Better to refuse plainly than to leave a message unanswered and let somebody wonder.

Booking, holding, reserving or paying for anything: impossible from here, and there is no partner sitting behind the site to be passed along to.

Building somebody an itinerary: declined, because a genuinely useful answer needs your dates, your budget, your pace and this week's conditions, and none of that fits through an inbox. The published features carry the raw record instead, including what each stay actually cost in walking.

Guest posts, sponsored features, link swaps, and requests to slip a link into something already published: refused every time, not answered, and not open to a follow up offer.

Post and telephone

Letters reach the publisher at 2601 South Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL 33133, United States. Post is collected once a week, so anything with a deadline attached should travel by email.

The telephone, +1 (786) 534-2918, rings during the same two day window and goes unanswered outside it. It is a working line for a small publisher rather than a support number, and email produces better answers to anything that needs thought.

Anything about your data

Access, correction, deletion and opt out requests go to [docket@wandrux.com](mailto:docket@wandrux.com), not to the general address.

Keeping them in one mailbox is how they get handled inside the deadlines the law actually sets. A data question sent to the reading address is still dealt with, it just travels the long way round first. What happens to each kind of request is written out in the Privacy Policy.

Using a photograph

Frames on this site belong to Wandrux Publishing LLC. They are not open for reuse by default, and putting one on another site with a credit underneath is reuse like any other.

Ask, and the answer comes back as a yes or a no rather than a licence schedule. Useful things to include: where it would appear, in what context, and for how long. Quoting a sentence or two of the writing with a link back needs no permission, provided the sentence still means what it meant before you cut it.
